5 Things Not To Stress About for Your Senior Session

There are many things to consider when thinking about how to have an amazing senior session and make it feel personal to you. This can be a very stressful time for you since you probably feel like you want to perfectly encapsulate your senior year. One of my seniors, Reyna, talked about just how stressed she was prior to the session but realized during it, that there wasn’t that much to stress about. She says that “Definitely don’t stress it so much, and look at ideas of what you kind of have in mind. Talk to Morgan, she’ll help you figure everything out.” So today, let’s touch on some of those things that Reyna is encouraging you not to worry about!

Posing

Posing is one of the biggest concerns I see seniors have when it comes to their senior session. Most of them say that they aren’t photogenic and have no clue where to even start with putting their arms. And that is totally okay! I will help you out with this by telling you exactly what to do. It doesn’t hurt either to come up with some ideas you may have depending on your location on Pinterest! In no time you will be super confident in front of the camera! And you won’t have to feel super stiff in every pose, I’ll be sure to give you some prompts to allow you to show your unique personality.

Makeup

A makeup artist is included in your package so no need to worry about doing your own makeup! Be sure to bring an inspo pic to show her that way you can work with her to make your look perfect!

Clear Vision

Your idea of what you want for your senior session doesn’t have to be perfect. Things change and there can be factors out of your control. So don’t be stressed if things don’t go how you anticipated. You also don’t need to know exactly what you want. It is part of my job to help your vision come to life. This means locations, posing, outfits, everything. I’m here to help you every step of the way.

Expectations

When you book with me, you will be sent a Senior Welcome Guide that goes over all the details of how I go about senior sessions. This is a great way for you as my client to know exactly how things will work. It is there to give you a calming piece of mind and to not be worried for what is to come.

Amount of Photos

Don’t stress about getting enough photos. I do not use an IPS model for senior sessions so you will receive all your photos. There is always a wide variety of photos from each location with different faces and poses. All seniors should get a sneak peek of their photos that night or the following day with a few photos from each location. Your full gallery will be published 2 weeks later.
