Classic Wedding Meets Modern Timeline in Louisville
Popping champagne bottles for the color palette
Bridget & Tra’s wedding at the Gillespie Loft in Louisville had one of the smoothest timelines and most gorgeous color palette. Since 2020, we’ve seen less coverage of weddings which means less and less photos for the gallery. When having an open timeline, like Bridget planned for her wedding, it allows for the photographer to have enough leeway to capture even the smallest moments. The timeline was planned well enough to where it gave me enough wiggle room in my 6 hour shooting time to capture so many moments throughout the day. Which lead to the beautiful gallery of this gorgeous couple complimented by their color palette. Champagne, black, and white, with hints of purple was the perfect choice of colors that worked SO well with this location. The bridesmaids all wore matching champagne satin dresses with clear heels while the groomsmen wore black suits with champagne colored bowties and handkerchiefs. The bricks in the building complimented Bridget’s auburn colored hair perfectly when the light crept in the window during her dress zip-up. It’s palettes like these that can a wedding so much more gorgeous and make the final outcome of your photos, so worth it!
